I started off by taking a photo of the back corner in the hall where the damp has got in and the wood has rotted. We have had to cut all the rotten wood out and Peter is trying to damp proof it. It is a very rough hole.
However the photos didn't really turn out well and on my way back upstairs I saw this rasp lying on the floor. Rough I think!

We had a problem with some rotten wood that needed cutting out- it's not much fun is it!!!!
