When I was a child my mother had a large glass jar full of shells and I always loved them. Whenever I could I would play with them and after being banned from playing because I broke one I would sneak a little touch whenever mum wasn't looking. This love has followed me into adult hood and I have several jars and bowls of shells all over the house, both english and the more exotic variety. Some of their colours are amazing and I knew that was what I wanted to photograph today.

This photo is really awesome - can't stop looking at the colours and the shape. I'd like to make something similar from polymer clay (once I get back to working with it).
